Would you like to see Oklahoma! in Concert for free?

Opera Idaho is looking for ushers to help seat people, hand out programs, and sell admission and raffle tickets. Of course, the biggest perk of ushering is that you get to see the show for free!

There are three performances to choose from:

Friday, August 18, 2017
Scentsy Amphitheater – 1 or two ushers needed
- 2701 E Pine Ave, Meridian
- Performance starts at 7:30pm, we’re asking ushers to arrive by 6pm

Sunday, August 20, 2017
Egyptian Theatre - minimum of 3 ushers needed
- 700 W Main St, Boise
- Performance starts at 2:30pm, we’re asking ushers to arrive by 1pm

Monday, August 21, 2017
Idaho Shakespeare Festival Amphitheater – minimum of 5 ushers needed
- 5657 E Warm Springs Ave, Boise
- Performance starts at 7:30pm, we’re asking volunteers to arrive by 6pm.
- The eclipse will start at 10:50am, reaching its zenith at 11:27am, and will end by 12:50pm … ending five hours before your call time. Unless you’re planning to be out of town to see the eclipse, it should not be a deciding factor. (times according to www.timeanddate.com/eclipse/in/usa/boise)
- Generally speaking, do expect higher traffic than usual due to the influx of people in town to watch the eclipse. Please plan accordingly.

Because it’s still summer, we’re asking our ushers to dress cool and comfortable. Feel free to wear a more western look to stay with the theme of Oklahoma.
