Cricital Mass

Boise Vocal Arts Ensemble

Critical Mass is dedicated to establishing, promoting and maintaining a tradition of excellence in choral music. Critical Mass is a music ensemble of professional singers from throughout the Treasure Valley, founded with a grant from Barbara Oldenburg for the support of quality choral performances.  Their mission is to establish and maintain a tradition of choral excellence, to be a vital part of the arts in Idaho, and to enrich our communities through choral music, education, and performance.

Join us for the last concert of the 2016-2017 season featuring traditional Irish and English pieces, as well as music by Henry Purcell, John Ireland, Robert Lucas Pearsall, Benjamin Britten, Daniel Pinkham, Samuel Barber, Mark Adamo, Richard Hundley, William Bolcom, Hoagy Carmichael, and Craig Hella Johnson. Also featuring arias and art songs performed by members of the Opera Idaho Resident Company.
